Arthur Finnegan American Legion Post 1443

The American Legion is built on a promise from men and women who swore with their lives to defend and protect the United States through military service. The promise begins at enlistment, grows through training and discipline in the U.S. Armed Forces, and continues after discharge, as veterans in service to the community, state, and nation. In times of crisis, The American Legion steps into the turmoil and fights to provide needed assistance for others. Young people who seek positive opportunities turn to The American Legion, which has mentored generations into responsible citizens.

Greenwood Lake Theater

Greenwood Lake Theater’s mission is to offer patrons a stimulating, dynamic, entertaining experience by retelling classic stories through theater, education, film, music, and art. The Theater is Orange County's only Equity Professional Theater company and had its humble beginnings in New York City as Mercia Entertainment in 2011. In 2013 the company was awarded non-profit status and, over the last eight years, has produced fundraisers, cabarets, readings, outdoor Shakespeare, and a summer musical. Once the company shifted to Orange County, NY, it was renamed and rebranded as Greenwood Lake Theater to better reflect the community. The Theater’s growth has led to its current partnership with the Warwick Historical Society, and its beautiful venue – the Old School Baptist Meeting House – has been home to recent live performances with plans to host many more in the future.
